On Einstein Online, there are two situations in which you might be concerned about your privacy:
"What's new" mailing list
If you subscribe to our "What's new" mailing list (cf. What's new), we will
- run a check to verify that nobody is using the stated e-mail address without the owner's consent
- use the stated e-mail address only to e-mail you information about recent additions to Einstein Online, at a rate of no more than two e-mails per month (usually less)
- not communicate your e-mail address to any third party
- at your request, remove you from the mailing list in a timely manner
Contacting Einstein Online
If you contact us via mail or e-mail, the only way we will use any personal data your message might contain (such as name, e-mail address, address) is to reply to a request you might have made. If you are asking a physics question, we do reserve the right to pass your message on to a suitable expert (who may or may not be a member of Albert Einstein Institute), but otherwise, we will not pass on your personal data to any third party.
